The 50 Best Films of 2010s (So Far)

There’s a ton of movies on this list that I haven’t watched yet, so here’s a personal bookmark for myself.

Jason Kottke:

The Dissolve picks the 50 best films of the current decade. Boyhood, The Social Network, Under the Skin, and Inside Llewyn Davis all rank high.

The Social Network and Her are two of my favorite movies of the past few years, but I was surprised to see them so high on the list. It was also nice to see Moonrise Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel, both directed by Wes Anderson, on here. Though they were quirky, I really enjoyed each of them. Glad they got the recognition they deserve. Under the Skin, starring Scarlett Johansson, is also high on this list. I thought that film was brilliantly wicked. Those are just a few that caught my attention.
