Every attempt at recreating Superman has fallen short, until now.
Man of Steel didn’t begin with Clark as a kid. Instead, it used his childhood as flashbacks throughout the movie, which brought great pace and rhythm.
What impressed me the most about this film was the overall mood that Snyder and Nolan created. They delivered a darker, grittier Superman than we’re used to seeing.
From the relatable locations that were destroyed, to the humble, yet protective Clark Kent, this movie felt like home.
