As I watched this teaser trailer, all I could think of, is how far we’ve come with video games. We see so many developers, though, overcomplicate their games, rather than emmersing the gamer into a world of exploration and emotions.
Hunger seems to understand this. This game is stunning, and just from this teaser, I get a sense of exploration, fear, and thrill. I don’t own a PS4, but because of this and the upcoming Uncharted game, I think I’ll need one.
At its heart, Hunger is a simple idea. A young girl is trapped in a labyrinth full of monsters and wants to escape. It will be your job to help her do this. It’s a genre we’re calling ‘suspense-adventure’, on account of the fact that there will be plenty of both. Coupled with an unnerving ‘Dollhouse Perspective’, tactile controls, and characters with soft, dark centres, Hunger will take your hand and let it go at the worst possible moment!
It's simple: if you write your email address here, my words will reach you again.
