I enjoy watching basketball more than any other sport. I fell in love with the game at an early age, and always looked at those guys like they were superheroes: Michael Jordan flying, Allen Iverson scoring on anyone in the league (despite his size), Jason Williams with his flashy passes—and now, there are more superstars than ever before.
Maybe it’s social media that has helped these players become so popular. However it happened, there’s a reason to watch almost every team every night.
Storylines to follow:
How will Westbrook do without Durant?
How soon will LeBron and Love dominate?
How dominant will Anthony Davis be?
Can the Spurs do it again and win back to back championships, or will they finally decline (critics have been anticipating this for years, never happened)
Can my Clippers finish the season off with the best record?
How well will Derrick Rose play after being out for nearly two seasons? Can he get back to MVP form?
Who will be the breakout rookie?
Can the Heat still be successful without LeBron, and can Wade stay healthy for the entire season?
What big names will be traded before the deadline?
Can my Clippers finally get to the Conference Finals? How about the Finals?
These are just the stories that are fresh on my mind. There’s so many more to watch for, including the ones that haven’t happened yet. The best part about it all is that there’s something to watch almost every night.
Let the games begin!
